Jesus doesn’t promise that everything will be good in our life if we follow him, but he does promise life-giving water flowing deep through us. This means he will give us a sense of peace and help, and a sense of his presence with us, in all our struggles of life.

Jesus is standing at the door knocking. Let him in and you can dine with him and he with you. How about that, chatting with the creator of the universe and the Son of God! What a privilege that is, available to you this morning – just let him in.
